POs Created

Every purchase order raised from a buy list, newest first. Open it from the Logistics menu, or from the PO Workbench.

Reading the list

ColumnWhat it means
PO #The number in QuickBooks.
VendorWho it was placed with.
Buy ListThe list it came from — click through to see the whole list.
LinesHow many lines went on the PO.
ValueTotal at the costs on the buy list, before tax and freight.
ROsHow many requirements orders the PO was bought against. Blank on a stock order.
RaisedBy hand if someone keyed it into QuickBooks, By IM2 if the app created it.

Narrowing it down

Set a date range (it opens on the last 30 days), type part of a vendor name, or pick by hand / by IM2. Click Show.

Seeing what is on a PO

Click the on any row. Underneath you get the lines that went on the order, and below that the RO lines they were bought for.

A stock purchase order shows nothing under "Bought for", and that is correct: the workbench adds up what every RO needs for a SKU, takes off what is on the shelf and already on order, and buys the difference. That order restocks the warehouse rather than belonging to any single RO.

This report is on screen only — nothing is emailed and there is no export.

Opening the PO in QuickBooks

PO numbers are links. Click one and QuickBooks opens that purchase order in a new tab — instantly if you are already signed in, otherwise after you sign in. The same links are on the RO line's PO list and in the workbench's On PO drill-down.

A PO you keyed in by hand stays plain text until tonight's sync finds it in QuickBooks; after that it becomes a link like the rest.

Sorting the list (2026-09-07)

Click any column heading to sort the list by that column; click it again to reverse. Blank cells always fall to the bottom. Numbers sort as numbers and dates as dates. Button and checkbox columns (Actions, Detail) don't sort. The sort works on the rows already on screen, so it never hides anything the page was showing.
