RO Inbox — Detail — Tips & Tricks
What this screen is for. Review a staged import job and turn it into a Requirements Order before it posts.
What you do here
- Check the header (Job, Customer, BOM, Type) and review each line in the grid.
- Set Type/Class from the dropdown if blank — Accept is blocked without it.
- Look at Change vs RO to preview what Accept will alter on an existing order.
- Check Would Hold? and Reason columns, then use Fix now to enter missing SKU or quantity and press Save.
- Press Find SKU (left of the SKU box) to see the likely items; Use fills the box, then Save.
- Use Surplus on a non-inventory line to mark it to come from surplus stock — it shows Surplus on Accept with Undo.
- Use Take remaining as non-inventory or Drop remaining to mark lines, checking the On Accept column.
- Enter Source order # (FP or BT), press Check to verify it before saving.
- Press Save header to save without accepting, or Accept to create/refresh the RO.
- Use Hold or Reject (with a required note) if the row isn't ready to become an RO.
Watch out
- A Would Hold line does not block the rest of the RO from being picked and ordered normally.
- An unsaved Fix-now entry is written automatically before Accept runs, but confirm it saved.
- If every line is marked Drop on Accept, Accept refuses — reject the row instead.
- An error banner means the last Accept attempt failed but the job is untouched; fix the issue and retry Accept.
- BOM created shows when the material list was made (FP ML) or when the BOM file was last changed, with the list or file name under it.
- FP job status and Address come from FieldPulse and refresh on every intake poll.
