Pick List — Tips & Tricks
What this screen is for. Issue a whole load of material to a job by entering picked quantities against its Requirements Order.
What you do here
- Type RO #, FP/BT job #, source #, or customer/job name into the find box and tap Go, then pick from the dropdown.
- Check the header's Class field and tap Change class if it's wrong, or Set class if the strip is red.
- Use Bin or SKU buttons to sort the list, or search box to filter by SKU/description.
- Type the quantity actually pulled next to each line, using 0 to drop a requirement and ± for returns.
- Add extra items not on the list via the bottom SKU — add or substitute card, then tab out and enter quantity.
- Tap Save for later to park the pick for Pick Review & Posting.
- Tap Post now only if you are Admin/Level 1 and posting is switched on, then confirm.
Watch out
- Blank is not zero — a blank line stays owed; only a confirmed 0 closes the requirement.
- Don't re-enter the full order quantity on a partially issued line — Req'd already shows what's left.
- Saving never moves inventory or posts to QuickBooks — only Post now or Pick Review does that.
- On a direct issue, check the carried-over class every time — it's easy to let the wrong one ride.
- Print report (PC) prints the list exactly as sorted/filtered on screen, with Picker/Date blanks and page numbers — good for picking off paper.
